Burton Young was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1967, which replaced his Bachelor of Laws Degree or LL. B., conferred in 1950.

Mr. Young is a Board Certified Marital and Family Lawyer by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
